Update of our purchase Innopet Monaco from Doggy & Moggie. We love it! Customer service and personal responses from the company were amazing and delivered specifically as I requested. seems like a great company.
Dylan (18weeks and learning) loves the new buggy, this is for one of its uses… puppy enclosure at the pub to keep him safe (he would eat everything of the floor) and contained. We have 2 other small dogs with us at the table too. We took out the fluffy bed and replaced with a washable puppy pad (he won’t pee in there) because we gave him frozen wet food in his ball to keep him quiet 😜
I chose this buggy specifically because my previous one had a zip front which was a nightmare to get together and this one simply clip closes and it’s done! Love it!
Also wanted a 3 wheeler as my previous (albeit Amazon cheapy) had dodgy front wheels that were weak but they always struggled to go in the same direction! This buggy feels so sturdy and smooth. The wheels are lovely, the front one can click in place or swivel and really feels good.
The brake on my previous buggy was a tiny little red peg of plastic that I never trusted. This one has a bar with a pedal on it covering both back wheels which feels much more solid and secure.
The underneath basket on my previous buggy fell out constantly. This one is lovely and secure it has handles if you want to use it as a shopping basket and slides securely into place. This buggy came with a free rain cover too (although I feel this is quite an expensive purchase anyway) which I haven’t used yet but I’m sure I won’t have an issue with it.
The only thing I’m sad about is I didn’t measure the boot of my ford fiesta. My previous buggy is smaller and I didn’t want one like the sporty as I didn’t want to have to take the wheels off for travel. However as the back wheels are wider than my boot space I do have to take them off but it is super quick and easy to do so I’m not too disheartened and I feel it was worth the money.
I found reviews very helpful when I was looking for something specific hence the essay.
We originally got a buggy for my now 9 year old who has had luxating Patel surgery on both knees so the previous cheap buggy was used a lot. She also won’t walk around shops so it’s useful in that situation. We also have a 13 year old with a collapsed trachea amongst other issues. I doubt she will be a fan at first but as we don’t have to faff with a silly zip on this one we may be abke to get her to ride in it safely as she would probably try and jump out.
Anyway hope that’s helpful to someone 🐶🐾
