Whilst this may seem a little big for a Staffie, at 20kg the smaller strollers felt too small. This allows her to stretch out in comfort when she isn't well enough to walk far. I've added a padded crate liner to ours for extra comfort and my girl thinks it is great! Although not a cheap purchase I hope this stroller serves us well for many years to come. Only downside is that to hold heavier animals it is quite heavy and difficult to manoeuvre in and out of the car and it is quite big and does fill my boot completely (BMW X3).
I purchased the Innopet Mamut Dog Stroller for Milly, my 14-year-old cocker spaniel who suffers from arthritis and struggles to keep up on longer walks with her sister Susie, aged five. The Stroller is stylish, well made and offers a comfortable ride as Milly settled in it straight away and even Susie has enjoyed getting in it. I would highly recommend this Stroller and also purchasing one from Moggie & Doggie as the staff are very helpful and efficient and the Stroller arrived the following day.
Bought this for my Australian service dog who at 13 now has arthritis. Got to admit that it's early days still but she's not a fan. I love it though. It's well built, solid and more than sturdy enough to transport her 29kg weight. It's designed very much like a modern child pram in its design and how it folds. It's just so easy to use and crucially, it's one of the lightest carriers for large dogs that you can buy. It folds well and doesn't have too large of a footprint so even fits in the boot of my small-ish car. I'm very happy and hopefully, over time, she'll get used to being in it. When she's in, it's very secure and we have no issues. It's just she's reluctant and has to be bribed but most dogs don't have a problem. She's just old and grumpy. I happily recommend getting one, if you need it. They're not cheap but in the world of dog carriers, you get what you pay for. It's a quality product.
