Whilst this pram is pricier than other dog prams, I’d say it was worth the money. It is lightweight and easy to handle but is sturdy and robust and can certainly take the weight. The wheels are very easily manoeuvrable, it has a handy storage pouch near the handlebars for keys, phone, water, poo bags etc. It is extremely easy to both collapse and erect - it’s just the touch of a button. And the best point of all is that the seating area is low down meaning my dog can get into and out of the pram herself and does not require me to lift her in and out. This was what we wanted because we want our dog to be able to decide for herself when she is tired and wants to go in the pram, rather than us having to second guess and lift her in and out. The only tweak I’d like is to be able to zip open the bottom screen. You can open the top one so your dog can see out if she’s sitting up but it would be good to be able to open the bottom one so she could see out when she’s lying down too. Other than that it’s perfect. You get what you pay for and although this was far more than other prams, it was far superior (we ordered two other prams and sent them back before settling for this one, because the others did not have our requirements and were not of good quality and seemed flimsy and easily breakable). This pram is of to same quality as a proper child’s pram. Our dog loves it and even approaches it pawing at it in the kitchen until I erect it so she can climb in and sleep in it when I’m at the table (even though she has a sofa, three dog beds and various cushions she could also sleep on!) It helps because whilst she has the will to still go out as often as possible, she doesn’t have the energy and tires halfway through her walks. Or she can walk around the park okay but struggles to walk to/from the park as well. I have other dogs so leaving her behind was simply not an option.
We bought this stroller after our basset hound prolapsed a disc and it has proved invaluable as he can't walk as far as our other 2 bassets so we can take him along with us .We have used it on many terrains grass, forest paths, gravel tracks and it coped really well.It is waterproof and washable so easy to care for and the rain cover keeps the passenger dry and cosy.We would highly recommend this stroller it is a quality stroller and well worth the price
So pleased, our dog is struggling with her back legs. She does struggle to get in the stroller and it will take time for her to get used to it but, we let her walk as far as she wants and she beginning to relax when we put her in. The only negative comment is that the strap to secure her in is in the wrong place at the side front. It would be better nearer the back and higher up
Not yet tired out and about as we are still doing pushchair training before going into the outside world.
Very stable, easy to manoeuvre and easy to put up and collapse.
Easy entry from either front or back, so no need to turn around inside.
Great stroller for my labrador - good quality, instructions were very clear. Highly recommended
