We have just spent 2 weeks in Snowdonia doing some very rugged walks with our elderly dog Gordon the comfort air buggy was brilliant, very well built and very sturdy
A brilliant purchase. We can now walk further over all terrains thanks to the stroller now that our older dog can only manage a couple of miles. The company were efficient fast and the phone rep was excellent.
We had to purchase in a hurry as we were due to go on holiday and our dog had become unwell. The stroller arrived the next day and was perfect, great quality, did the job and well worth the money.
We purchased the Innopet Comfort Air Dog Stroller just over 2 weeks ago for our dog Lucky, who is 4 and has Leishmaniasis. Her mobility is compromised currently and she cannot walk any distance, but we have been reluctant to leave her at home when walking our other two dogs. Prior to purchase we did alot of research and chose this stroller on the basis of its positive reviews and because it seemed versatile and sturdy. In the short time we have had it we have taken it on grass in the park, onto the beach, and across fields without any difficulty. Our dog Lucky took to it from day one and she seems completely at ease with her new mode of transport. My husband does the walking of our three dogs most week days and he reports being able to push and maneuver it with ease with one hand whilst holding the leads of our other two dogs. I have however bought two clips for the handles to which I attach the leads and they work well. Interestingly we have found that walking the dogs next to the buggy has instil some discipline in our otherwise unruly pack. The other two dogs are also now being walked at a pace which is comfortable for them and gives them proper exercise.
The interior of the stroller is spacious and it has a padded base. We have, however, put a blanket in it for additional comfort, and are having a cushion made specifically for the stroller because, well, we love Lucky so much! Although you can have the front of the stroller up and there is a hood and netted screen, we kept the front pushed down so Lucky has an unobstructed view. It also feels like she is more involved with the walk. There are straps for attaching to the dog's harness which we are using as although Lucky generally does not attempt to get out when being pushed or even when we stop, we did encounter a cat on one walk which she attempted to launch herself at!
As far as storage space is concerned the large basket underneath the stroller has ample space to carry water, leads, poo bags, jackets etc and the tray attached to the handle is also great for putting your mobile phone, treats and keys on.
Another plus, the stroller is very easy to collapse with one hand.
Overall, therefore, this stroller is not the cheapest on the market but is definitely worth the money as it is very well made, looks good, and works well. I give it 5 stars and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone contemplating buying a stroller for their dog. In fact I would recommend buying a stroller to anyone who has a sick or elderly dog as it does make life a lot easier for everyone concerned.
With regard to Doggie and Moggie, athough I did not speak with anyone before making my purchase I did find their website very informative and this is why I ended up buying from them. I was also influenced in my decision to use them by the very positive comments made regarding their customer service and after care. Finally, the stroller arrived within 48 hours of being ordered. So, 5 stars to them too!
We bought this buggy for our soon to be 15 year old border terrier, Barney. It’s given him a new lease of life. We can now take him out again to places that he hasn’t been able to visit for ages. He’s been back to the beach and loves it! I always said I’d never get a dog buggy but I’m so glad we did.
