This stroller is brilliant...Love the quick release wheels for easy storage as ...will be able to go further and for longer with my beloved William (and little Freddie can fit tooas the stroller takes up to 50 kg)
Great 24 hr delivery
The buggy has enabled us to do longer walks with our labrador who is 12 1/2 and arthritic. We used it for the first time on holiday in Cornwall. Ordering and delivery was quick and efficient. The buggy itself is good quality and extremely easy to assemble. More manoeuvrable than I was expecting. It is quite wide however which can be a problem going through gates etc and pushing it uphill with doggie on board is hard going!. But on the whole extremely pleased with our purchase
We've used our stroller a few times now and our German shepherd loves it. It's great to push very smooth, our GS is at least 36kg and I only feel it on a hill. I can't fault this product, it does what it's supposed to do and does it very well.
Thank you guys
The Innopet Hercules arrived quickly and is proving to be a fantastic product. Highly recommend.
I purchased this buggy for my 12 year old GSD. He was due to have an op and his back legs are getting the better of him some days so this seemed the perfect answer. Overall I’m really happy with it and now I’ve thoroughly tested it I thought I’d review it.
My dog is happy to get in and out of it, but as a large breed it is a bit of a squeeze. He is not the biggest of my GSD’s so it’s ok for him, it would be too small for my largest dog. However if you open all flaps up and let them lie with their paws sticking out, it works as long as your dog is happy enough to stay put. It moves easily around although I would have preferred it slightly longer and narrower so it could go through a standard door frame. If you take the wheels off, which is easy enough, it does fit. Bit of a faff but doable.
I’ve taken this on the road, through fields and tracks, and on the beach, Obviously the road is smooth and easy, it goes well enough on tracks and on the hard bits of sand on the beach. It did sink a bit in the soft stuff, so the dog had to get out whilst I carried it over those bits. It’s quite heavy and awkward, but again doable. If there are two of you, you can pull it backwards over the more difficult ground.
I also bought the bike rod to go with it. This is where I feel a bit let down. Firstly there were no instructions and there doesn’t seem to be anywhere on the website either?? It is NOT suitable for a bike with quick release wheels (which basically means unless you have a bike from the dark ages it won’t work!) My partner has had to fashion a new bracket to make it work with the bike. I also am a little dubious to pull it along knowing my dog is sort of hanging out the buggy so to speak. There are straps to secure the dog in but I haven’t needed to use them. For a smaller lighter dog I think it would be better, or perhaps if you live in a very flat area (I am in Mid-Wales - it’s very hilly!)
The only other thing I would like to see added (and I may do myself) are some carrying handles so if you’re out and about on the fields/beach you could lift the buggy, between two people, over any dodgy ground instead of having to fold it up or drag it backwards. The handle that you push it with could also do with a little bit of adjustment, it tends to rattle up and down a bit.
I put a soft bed down on the bottom of the buggy as it’s far too hard to be comfortable. My dog loves it and it’s great to be able to go out for a long walk knowing I can pop him in it when he’s had enough.
It’s a pricey bit of kit, but I think it’s worth every penny as a buggy. If you have an old dog or young pup this ticks the boxes for getting them around if you like to be out and about for longer periods of time. I’ve never had one before but will definitely be a must going forward with my best friends on my doggy adventures!
